1924 - 1927 Eighteenth president of the AAU. Hulbert was a four-time president of the AAU. Before becoming active in the organization, Hulbert served two terms as member of the House of Representatives in Washington, DC serving in the United States Congress from 1914-1918. He appointed Colonel Theodore Roosevelt, son of President Theodore Roosevelt, as an at-large delegate to the AAU Board of Governors. (Ref: The Amateur Athlete 1932-1934)
